  • Very important updated information.- If you are interested in starting your trek on a different date -other than the one indicated above, you can still book for this date as long as there is space available. A minimum of two people is required to form a new group. (Please note that all trekkers require at least two nights to acclimatize before the trek). Then we will try to find more people for your date and try to make the tour in group service. Therefore, it is so important to book 9-10 months in advance. Permits are subject to availability, are so limited and fill up quickly. If there are no other interested passengers and no more spaces remain, the tour will be offered privately at a different price. Spaces are subject to availability. All agencies prepare their passenger lists in advance. Booking earlier also helps to get Winaywayma campsite on 3rd night -the nearest campsite for Machu Picchu.

Inca Trail 2027 — Book Early

Inca Trail hikes to Machu Picchu for April to June 2027. Book before October 20, 2026.

Permits are extremely limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. We recommend booking 5–6 months in advance or earlier for our 4-Day or 5-Day Inca Trail hikes, as well as our multi-day tours that include an Inca Trail hike.

Early booking also gives you a better chance of securing the last campsite at Wiñay Wayna, the campsite closest to Machu Picchu.
