Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival to Cusco at any time. Reception at Cusco airport and transfer to your Hotel Marqueses.

Day 2: Cusco, Sacred Valley Tour (Pisac, Pisac Market, Urubamba, Yucay, Ollantaytambo, Chincheros, Cusco.

Day 3: Maras, Moray and Salt Mines guided tour from 09:00 to 15:00 Hrs. Hotel Marqueses.

Day 4: Inca trail Piskacucho Km 82, Patallaqta Cusichaka, Wayllabamba, Ayapata 3 stones.

Day 5: Ayapata 3 stones, Llulluchayoq, Dead woman`s pass, Pacaymayo, Runkuracay, Sayacmarka, Chakicocha.

Day 6: Chakicocha, Aobamba Valley, Phuyupatamarka, Intipata, Winaywayna Chakicocha, Aobamba Valley, Phuyupatamarka, Intipata, Winaywayna.

Day 7: Winaywayna, Machu Picchu. Aguas Calientes. Train return to Cusco. Hotel Marqueses.

Day 8: Last Day in Cusco, Time to relax. Transfer to the Airport.

  • Trekking poles: metal tips are not allowed on the trail.
  • Warm clothes,layers for variable temperature especially at night
  • Thermal underwear can be worn in the sleeping bag or in cold conditions
  • Gloves or mittens, scarf , wool socks, woolen hat for cold nights
  • T-shirts and trekking pants that zipoff to short pants for comfort
  • Flash light, head torch and extra batteries
  • Camera and extra batteries
  • Binoculars
  • Wear a hat with a broad visor to keep the sun off your face
  • Sunscreen, and sunglasses.
  • Personal medical kit, insect repellent.
  • Rain Gear a good rain jacket, rain poncho.
  • Toiletries, toilet paper, small towe.l
  • 2 litre water bottle, (disposable plastic bottles are forbidden in Machupicchu site)
  • Water purifying tablets is optional, since we provide boiled water or buy it enroute.
  • Bathing clothes for the hot springs for hikers with an extra night in Aguas Calientes.
  • Extra money for drinks & tips, souvenirs etc in soles.
  • Emergency money at least 200-300 extra soles.
  • If you don`t have sleeping bags, rain ponchos, trekking poles, water bottle, etc you can rent/buy them from SAS Travel office at your check-in 2 days before the trek departure.

HOW TO CONFIRM YOUR RESERVATION.-Choose in the Calendar the date of when you would like to start this Package tour with the 4 Day Inca Trail Trek, please note that (Day 1, is the date of your arrival to Cusco and ensure that the date for your trek is available in our Calendar.) Fill in your details in the format as it is requested, and fill in the details of the people traveling with you, once you have finished and sent us your reservation, you will be logged to pay a booking deposit of US$ 500+5% per person or pay through Paypal with 6% payment fee. Once we receive your booking deposit we will confirm your tour in your email with further details.

Please Note.-Canceled spaces can not be used again by another person, do not be surprised by other operators, there are no waiting lists for Classic Inca Trail.
